President’s Message

As we step into a new year together, I’m filled with gratitude, pride, and a deep sense of possibility.

2025 asked a lot of us. It stretched us, challenged us, and invited us to lead with courage and compassion, often simultaneously. What I witnessed, again and again, was the power of this community: women standing shoulder to shoulder, offering steadiness, wisdom, and care when it mattered most. We did not lead alone… and that is our strength.

Our time in South Africa was a powerful reminder of what is possible when women leaders gather with open hearts and shared purpose. Across cultures and continents, we felt it clearly: when women leaders benefit, the world benefits. That truth lives at the center of IWF, and especially at the heart of our Trusteeship.

As we begin 2026, we also begin something extraordinary: the exciting countdown to the 2028 Global Conference. The work we do this year and beyond matters. We are not preparing for an event; we are shaping a legacy. We are at the core of the change we want to see in the world, and our collective leadership is the engine that moves it forward.

I’m delighted to welcome our new Trusteeship leadership for 2026. Each of these women brings insight, generosity, and a deep commitment to service. You’ll find their names and roles just below this message, and I hope you’ll join me in reaching out with your support and enthusiasm. Leadership here is not a title; it’s a shared responsibility, and one we carry together.

At the same time, I want to offer heartfelt thanks to our outgoing Board members. Your dedication, time, and thoughtful leadership have strengthened this organization in lasting ways. We are better because of you, and we carry your contributions forward with gratitude.

As we look ahead, let us continue to lead from the power of love, not from a platform of fear. Love for one another, love for this mission, and love for the future we are building together. This is how real change happens.

Thank you for who you are, for how you lead, and for the collective force you bring to IWF–The Trusteeship. The year ahead is full of promise, and we are ready.

With appreciation and optimism,

XO,

Linda

“When I joined The Trusteeship, I had spent my whole life in government service and nonprofit organizations. The Trusteeship has introduced me to previously unfamiliar worlds (corporate, military, film, international) and the wonderful women who populate them, and in the process helped me better appreciate their work and my own.”
