President’s Message

Dear IWF – Trusteeship Sisters,

As some of us prepare to travel to London next week for the IWF Global Cornerstone Conference, I’ve been reflecting on one of the most extraordinary aspects of this organization: the opportunity to connect with remarkable women whose paths we might otherwise never cross.

Whether across the globe or within our own forum, those connections matter deeply. They broaden our perspectives, inspire new ideas, create lasting friendships, and remind us of the power of women supporting one another through every stage of leadership and life.

That spirit was especially evident this month as we closed our new member nomination cycle with 28 highly promising candidates now entering the vetting process with our Membership Committee. I want to sincerely thank the members who thoughtfully nominated women whose accomplishments, leadership, and character reflect the very best of the International Women’s Forum.

As an invitation-only organization, IWF offers something truly rare — not simply access to accomplished women, but the opportunity to build meaningful relationships within a community grounded in engagement, generosity, and mutual support.

But the work does not end when a new member joins. In many ways, it begins there.

As we continue welcoming new members into our community, I encourage each of us to reach out intentionally — to introduce ourselves, extend an invitation, make room at the table, and help transform membership into true belonging.

The strength of IWF has always been rooted in women championing one another, generously sharing wisdom, and building relationships that endure far beyond any single event or meeting.

Thank you for continuing to shape a community defined not only by excellence, but by connection, engagement, and heart. It is a privilege to build it together.

XO,

Linda

“When I joined The Trusteeship, I had spent my whole life in government service and nonprofit organizations. The Trusteeship has introduced me to previously unfamiliar worlds (corporate, military, film, international) and the wonderful women who populate them, and in the process helped me better appreciate their work and my own.”
