IWF Southern California - The Trusteeship Privacy Policy

IWF Southern California - The Trusteeship is a friendship organization. As friends, we value and respect each other and seek to maintain the sense of trust and security necessary to forge close bonds. We are deeply serious about protecting the privacy of every member. At our founding, we established a stringent privacy policy which we request that each member diligently follow.

1.  We do not share our membership roster or any individual’s personal information with anyone outside our membership. If you wish to invite individual members to participate in a cause or project that is important to you, do so through your office and not by handing over our roster to an organization that can then use our members information for other purposes or even sell it. Please do not ask our administrator to solicit members for you; you must do this yourself.

2.  No products may be sold or promoted to IWF So Cal - Trusteeship members that are not our local forum or International Women’s Forum products through the website or at meetings hosted under the auspices of the organization.

3.  No advertising or promotional materials may be posted on our website.

4.  IWF So Cal - Trusteeship does not buy tables when members are honored because it would bankrupt our treasury since our members are so prominent that they are frequently honored. If you would like to organize a member table, you may post this on the website and coordinate the reservations and funds yourself. The administrator is not available to coordinate tables.

5. IWF So Cal - Trusteeship has taken steps to protect the safety and security of your contact information and financial transactions made through the website. We use high-grade encryption and the https security protocol to communicate with your browser software throughout your entire site visitation. This method is the industry standard security protocol, which makes it extremely difficult for anyone else to intercept the personal or credit card information you send to us. Companies we work with to process credit card transactions also use high-grade encryption and security protocols. However, IWF So Cal - Trusteeship has no control over or responsibility for the data collection and use practices of third parties that process online credit card transactions.
