Our
programs are enriched by the unique insight, access, and experience of
our members. Representing a broad spectrum of industries, leadership
roles, and communities, our network connects us to the most engaging
ideas, people, and trends throughout Southern California. Our members
are bound by a shared intellectual curiosity, a passion for advancing
women’s leadership, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact in
our communities. Through these connections, we design a diverse range of
programming that informs, inspires, and engages.
Dine-Arounds These gatherings in members’ homes are an excellent way to get to know other members. A Dine-Around can be as simple as a backyard BBQ or a seated dinner; it can have a theme (sharing memories, discussing a current issue) or not. It’s up to the host. We like to limit these dinners to 10 members to retain the sense of intimacy we believe Dine-Arounds may offer. |
Special Access/Behind the Scenes Through our members, we often have the opportunity to enjoy a performance or behind-the-scenes look at an industry. Examples include a visit with a performer after the show or a tour of a facility. One Special Access event was a fascinating trip to Travis Air Force Base complete with rides in a jet fighter! |
Conversations Informative and thought-provoking, these panel discussions focus on various topics and feature our members and, on occasion, guest speakers who are experts in a particular field. We also host these conversation events virtually to make them easily accessible for all members. |
New Members Party An annual gathering at a member’s home or large event space which is oftentimes the highlight of the year! This is where new members are introduced to the membership-at-large and everyone in attendance has the chance to make new friends and renew old acquaintances. |
Retreats Members gather at retreats to reconnect with old friends, build new relationships, and enjoy quality time together in some of Southern California’s most beautiful settings. Past retreat locations have included San Diego, Downtown Los Angeles, Long Beach, Orange County, La Jolla, Palm Springs, and Santa Barbara. |
IWF Conferences Twice a year the International Women's Forum (IWF) hosts a conference. In Spring, it is held at an international site; in Fall, in North America. Members enjoy panels, Dine-Arounds, special access tours, and—most of all—the company of other IWF members from across the globe. |
